Upgrading Government Schools to become State Vocational Training Centers (SVTCs)

The goal of the DREAM Program is to transform government schools in into State Vocational Training Centers (SVTCs), providing K12 students with hands-on expertise in Design, Robotics, Electronics, and Additive Manufacturing (DREAM). The program aims to equip students with essential skills, fostering their creativity and preparing them for future careers in the tech-driven manufacturing sector.
The DREAM Program is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry, preparing students for success in an increasingly technology-driven world while fostering skills that are essential for future careers in manufacturing and related sectors.

Cultivate an early interest in technology and manufacturing fields, inspiring students to think creatively and approach problem-solving in innovative ways. The program encourages students, especially in Class 11 and 12, to build foundational skills for higher-level technical training and future employability.

Equip students with in-demand technical skills in areas such as design, robotics, electronics, and additive manufacturing. This prepares them for a technology-centric workforce, ensuring they are proficient in critical technical disciplines.

Encourage students to tackle complex problems, requiring systematic thinking, planning, troubleshooting, and critical analysis. This approach helps in honing essential problem-solving skills that are crucial in the modern technological landscape.

Integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in a hands-on and practical manner. The multidisciplinary approach makes STEM subjects more engaging, relevant, and accessible to students, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications.

Develop collaborative skills such as teamwork, communication, project management, and problem-solving. These interpersonal skills are essential for working in teams and contributing to innovative solutions in the workforce.

Provide students with insights into career opportunities in the evolving fields of technology and manufacturing, allowing them to make informed decisions about their future career paths and educational pursuits.

Modernize the infrastructure and facilities at government schools by installing cutting-edge equipment, machinery, and technology tools. Additionally, update course content to include the latest advancements in emerging technologies, ensuring the curriculum stays relevant to industry needs.
